TUBES CROSSING SOCKET (PCTE)

Watertight box in cast aluminum is installed at the level of
each pipe crossing, in order to measure and adjust the
potential and induced interference. Size 310x265x100
mm, mounted on a 2″ diameter galvanized steel support.
• Two 1x16mm2 cables welded to the pipe just above
crossing level with the foreign pipeline by procedure
aluminothermic.
• The box of this socket is fitted with a variable resistor
for equipotential and current settings.
• The small cables of the lugs are connected to a
bakelite plate.
• Marking is done by thermo-shrinking sleeves.
