The Electrification of Algeria company, AL ELEC is a joint stock company (SPA) with capital of 1570.1 million dinars resulting from the restructuring of ENEL.

The main mission of AL ELEC consists of complete support in terms of studies, supplies and execution of various electrical services, namely:
The construction of high voltage overhead power lines for the transmission of electrical energy (400KV -220KV);
The construction of medium and low voltage MV/LV electricity distribution networks;
The assembly of HT / MV / LV transformation electrical substations;
Lighting of traffic lanes, highways, amusement parks, monuments, historic sites, etc.
Stadium lighting using high masts;
Lighting of large areas: ports, airports, stations, etc.
Maintenance of overhead lines and underground connections;
Maintenance of HT/MV, MV/LV electrical energy transformation stations.
